TERMS AND CONDITIONS
K&S Fence is a family run company that strives for customer satisfaction. Because of this we strive to be transparent in all doings.
1.Estimates are always free but are not a contract. After the estimate is completed, a proposal/contract will be sent via email with the cost of the product type and style and labor, along with a list of the material. Deposits are only for cost of material, no payment is given until job completion. Prices of proposals are subject to change as cost of material changes. As the market is currently unstable material cost can change without notice, which will change the price on proposals. we cannot be responsible for change of material pricing because we have no control over it. Once a deposit is paid, there can be only 3 days to request refund, as once material is paid we cannot guarantee money back from the distributor, only material itself will be given. Final payment for labor is not to be made until the job is completed with the satisfaction of the customer. As such any details of the job will be gone over before the job is started so the specifications can be determined and met. Any deviation from the proposal will result in change of pricing unless discussed and agreed upon by both customer and Ken Stewart, owner of the company.
Cash, check, and credit card are the only forms of payment accepted at this time. As that changes, this shall be amended. We provide a copy of the contract signed by both Ken Stewart, the owner of K&S Fence Company, and the customer along with the receipt for the deposit,
2. Placement on the schedule is only made after the proposal/contract is signed and the deposit is made. Scheduling is done in order of each customers deposit and proposal/contract signing to be fair. We must wait for the materials to be made and readied for pickup or delivery before a job is started. We have no control over when materials are ready as only the distributor has such control, unless a custom wood fence is made. We will discuss the length of wait for materials prior to proposal/contract signing. There are times when specific materials are on back order or custom orders are hard to get.
Scheduling is affected by material availability, delays on prior jobs, weather, employee illness, and other circumstances out of our control.
New installations are always guaranteed for craftmanship. If there is ever a problem that is our fault, it shall be fixed for free. Warranty for material is made by the distributor. No warranty will extend to any act of God. Please ask about warranties specific to each style of fence.
We do not offer warranties on repairs, There will be no warranty on any material that is not provided by K&S Fence. There are conditions that affect the longevity of materials such as weather for wood. Please ask us about this.
